Energy reductions in 2012

 CIT saving electricity in 2012

CIT have reduced the electricity usage by more than 11% this year, compared to last year (January to November). Well done to everyone who played their part in helping to reduce the impact CIT has on the environment.

Let's all make a big effort to make the savings even better by remembering to SWITCH OFF and PLUG OUT all electrical equipment before leaving for the Christmas break.

The Buildings & Estates Office have been making great efforts in reducing energy usage during the year. The installation of a new Combined Heat and Power (CHP) unit and partnering up with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) amongst many of their efforts.

Have a Merry (and green) Christmas!
